How to prepare cacao

Main way to prepare your cacao is to cook it in water - add your portion (i.e. 20g) of chopped cacao into the pot with cold water (approx 200ml), put on low heat and cook for approx 20minutes.
Cacao prepared this way is easier to digest and gets nicely creamy. You can still add your spices and blend it if you wish. Cacao like to be in hot water and do not loose of its health benefits.

Anothor way of preparing cacao is to mix between 10-25g of cacao with hot water
(approx 200ml). Then add spices if you wish - pinch of salt, cayenne pepper,
cinnamon, vanilla, ginger and (if you need) sweetener. You can experiment with
flavours adding different spices. Mix with a spoon or use blender for smoother
consistency and foam.

And you are ready to go!

Traditionally, ceremonial cacao is prepared by combining cacao paste with water.

If you prefer you can use plant milk instead or half in half with water.

Find a space where you can enjoy your cup of cacao and think of what you’d like
to invite into your life and what you are letting go.

I highly recommend preparing and drinking ceremonial cacao with an intention.
